Soft Play Hire
​
Booking & Payment​
-
A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required within 24 hours of booking to secure your date. If payment is not received, your date will be released.
-
The booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations.
-
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to contact@nandnballoons.com at least 14 days before your event.
-
If an event is rescheduled, we will do our best to offer a new date. If no date is available and full payment has been made, you will receive a credit note (valid for 12 months). If only the booking fee has been paid, this remains non-refundable and non-transferable.

No Show / Late Arrival
-
If you are not present at the agreed setup time, we will wait only a reasonable period before leaving.
-
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or late arrivals.
​
Outdoor Bookings​
-
Outdoor hires are available April–August.
-
Equipment must be returned in the same clean condition it was delivered. Muddy or stained equipment will incur a £50 cleaning charge.
-
We require at least 60 minutes before and after your event for setup and collection. For home/outdoor hires, setup is in the early morning and collection in the evening.
​
Outdoor bookings require:​
-
Notification at the time of booking whether the setup is at home or a venue.
-
A Plan B indoor space with a photo provided in case of bad weather.
-
Dry ground (no rain the day before or on the day of hire). Wet ground may prevent setup.
-
If no suitable indoor space is available and outdoor conditions are unsafe, the booking will be cancelled with no refund.

Health & Safety​
-
If children show signs of illness (sickness, diarrhoea, hand foot & mouth, etc.), they must be symptom-free for 48 hours before setup.
-
Adult supervision is required at all times.
-
Venues with stairs must be declared. If you confirm “no stairs” and stairs are present on arrival, we will not set up and no refund will be given.
-
You are responsible for measuring your space before booking. If the setup area is too small, we will not set up and no refund will be given.
-
Parking close to the venue must be provided. Parking fees, congestion charges, or access restrictions are the client’s responsibility.

Any change of venue or time must be communicated early. Availability is not guaranteed, and refunds will not be given if we cannot accommodate changes. A credit note will be issued instead.

Damage, Pets & Liability
- Clients are responsible for any damage caused to equipment during hire.

Strict no-pet policy – pets must not come into contact with equipment.

N&N Balloons Ltd accepts no liability for accidents or injuries during hire.
-
Equipment must not be used in adverse weather (rain, winds above 24mph). In hot weather, clients must provide shade (e.g., gazebo).
Force Majeure​
-
N&N Balloons Ltd is not liable for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, emergencies, government restrictions). In such cases, bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled.

Setup, Timing & Delays​
-
Setup and collection times will be agreed at booking.
-
Delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events may occur. No refunds will be issued for delays beyond our control.
​
Soft Play Rules​
-
No rough play, pushing, or jumping on others.
-
Shoes off, socks on at all times.
-
No ride-ons on soft mats.
-
No food, drink, gum, slime, face paint, or confetti near equipment.
-
No pets, smoking, vaping, or barbecues near equipment.
-
Soft play is for children aged 5 and under only.
-
No use by anyone with injuries, illness, or medical conditions.
-
Jewellery, badges, glasses, and sharp objects must be removed before play.
-
Ball pit balls and equipment must not be thrown.
-
Damaged items must be removed from play and returned at collection.
-
If a face painter is present at the venue, we will not set up and no refund will be given.

Insurance
We hold £10 million public liability insurance for your peace of mind.
Photography & Social Media
By booking, you consent to photos/videos of setup being used for marketing purposes (website, social media). If you do not wish to be included, please notify us in writing before your event.

Data Protection
We handle your personal information in line with GDPR. Details are used only for booking and essential communication and will not be shared with third parties.
​
Client Conduct
Clients and guests must treat staff and equipment with respect. If staff feel unsafe or are treated disrespectfully, we reserve the right to cease service and leave immediately.
Credit Note Validity
Credit notes are valid for 12 months from your original event date. They are non-transferable and must be used by the original booking client.
Resale & Subcontracting
Bookings are non-transferable and cannot be resold or subcontracted. Breach of this will result in cancellation without refund.
Equipment Inspection
We encourage all clients to check equipment during setup. Any issues must be reported immediately. Damage found after hire that was not reported at setup may be considered the client’s responsibility.
Balloon Display Terms & Conditions​
Please read carefully. By paying your booking fee and allowing us to set up, you agree to the following terms.
By booking with N&N Balloons Ltd, you accept these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update or amend them at any time.
Booking
-
A booking is only confirmed once a 50% non-refundable booking fee has been paid. This secures your event date in our diary.

The final balance is due no later than your event start time.
-
Once the final balance is paid, the booking cannot be changed or cancelled, and the full amount becomes non-refundable.

Payments
-
Payments can be made via bank transfer or the payment link provided.
-
Failure to pay the booking fee will result in your booking not being secured and no materials (including balloons) being ordered.
Cancelling & Rescheduling
Rescheduling​
-
You may reschedule your booking at least 14 days before the agreed date.
-
If rescheduled correctly, your booking fee may be transferred to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability and at the discretion of N&N Balloons Ltd.
Cancellation​
-
You may cancel at any time, but all booking fees remain non-refundable.
-
If the final balance has already been paid, the total amount is non-refundable and the event cannot be altered.

Changes to Orders​
-
Décor pieces cannot be removed once materials have been ordered.
-
Additional décor may be added (subject to availability) if at least 14 days’ notice is given.
-
Colour changes may incur additional costs.
​
Delivery & Installations​
-
Setup times depend on the size and complexity of your décor. This will be confirmed during booking.
-
Delivery and installation charges are based on location, setup complexity, travel time, and transport costs.
-
Clients are responsible for ensuring venue access. N&N Balloons Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by restricted access or insufficient setup time.
​
Damages & Hired Items​
-
All hired items remain the property of N&N Balloons Ltd.
-
Any damage to props, frames, or faux flowers during hire is the client’s responsibility and must be paid for within 7 working days.
-
Missing, stolen, or unreturned items will be charged at full replacement value.
-
Do not stick, glue, tape, or attach anything to our props. Any damage will incur additional charges.

Collection of Balloon Décor​
-
Once balloon décor has been collected by the client, N&N Balloons Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage caused during transport.
​
Material Guarantee​
-
All materials used meet manufacturer specifications. If an item is unavailable, we may substitute it with a product of equal quality.
-
Foil balloons: May temporarily deflate in cold weather but will typically reinflate indoors.
-
Bubble balloons: Fragile and must be handled with care. N&N Balloons Ltd is not responsible for deflation or damage after delivery or collection.
​
Outdoor Events​
-
Balloons are sensitive to outdoor elements and may deflate, fade, or pop due to wind, rain, heat, or handling.
-
Sun: Balloons may fade, oxidise (turn matte), or pop in direct sunlight.
-
Wind: For safety reasons, we will not install outdoors if winds exceed 20mph.
​
Safety Warnings​

Balloons pose a choking hazard. Children must be supervised at all times.
-
Once setup is complete, N&N Balloons Ltd accepts no liability for accidents or injuries.
Disclaimer​
-
Décor should remain in its installed position. Moving items may cause damage or risk.
-
Command hooks may be used where necessary. While generally safe, they can occasionally mark or damage surfaces. N&N Balloons Ltd is not responsible for any such damage.
-
We are not liable for any damage or issues caused once décor has been installed or collected.

Additional Clauses
​
Force Majeure
N&N Balloons Ltd will not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, or failure to perform due to events beyond our control, including extreme weather, government restrictions, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
​
Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate event information (e.g., access, setup location, surface suitability, timings). N&N Balloons Ltd is not liable for delays or issues caused by inaccurate or incomplete details.
Photography & Marketing
We reserve the right to photograph our work for use on social media, website, and marketing materials. If you prefer your event not to be photographed, please notify us in writing before your event.
Hire Period
All hire items are for a 24-hour period, unless otherwise agreed. Late returns may result in additional charges.
Setup Approval
Once setup is complete, the client (or a representative) must approve the installation. Concerns must be raised immediately. No refunds or alterations will be made once approval is given or once the event begins.
Balloon -

Please read these terms carefully. By placing an order with us and paying your booking fee, you are agreeing to the following terms.
By booking with N&N Balloons Ltd, you accept these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update or amend them at any time without notice.

Booking​

Booking fees remain non-refundable as materials are sourced immediately once your order is confirmed.

If the final balance has already been paid, the full amount becomes non-refundable, and the order cannot be cancelled or amended.

Collection Policy​

Orders must be collected at the agreed date and time from our premises.

A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After this, your order may no longer be available if we have other appointments.

Missed collection slots may require rescheduling at our discretion and could incur a rebooking fee.

Once collected, balloons are the responsibility of the client, including safe transport and care.

Responsibility on Collection​

You (or your representative) will be asked to inspect your balloons before leaving.

By accepting your order, you confirm that the items were in good condition at the time of collection.

Once collected, N&N Balloons Ltd accepts no responsibility for damage, deflation, or loss.
​
Weather Conditions​
-
Balloons are sensitive to temperature changes.
-
Do not leave balloons in hot or cold vehicles, as this may cause them to pop or deflate.
-
N&N Balloons Ltd is not responsible for damage caused by weather exposure or improper transport after collection.
​
Personalised Orders​
-
Clients must double-check spellings and wording for personalised balloons when placing the order.
-
N&N Balloons Ltd is not responsible for errors once the order has been confirmed.
-
Any changes after confirmation may not be possible or may incur additional charges.
​
Photography & Social Media​
-
We may photograph your order before or during collection for use on our website or social media.
-
If you do not wish for your items to be photographed or shared, please notify us in writing at the time of booking.
​
Materials & Handling Notes​
-
We use only high-quality materials, but balloons are delicate and must be handled with care.
-
Bubble balloons and foil balloons are especially sensitive to temperature and handling.
-
Balloons should be transported:
-
Indoors, with a clear space in your vehicle (seats folded if needed).
-
Away from sharp objects or heavy items.
-
In cool conditions — use air conditioning if it’s hot, and never leave balloons unattended in a vehicle.
​
Safety Notice​​

Balloons can pose a choking hazard. Keep out of reach of small children unless supervised.
-
Balloons should always be secured or weighted to prevent accidents or loss.
​
Disclaimer​

Balloon lifespan cannot be guaranteed once collected, as conditions vary.
-
Care instructions will be provided at collection. Failure to follow them may reduce longevity.
-
Once collected, balloons are the client’s responsibility.
